The most important goals and strategy of establishing the public monitoring office is to gain the trust of citizens and improve the organizational performance of FARAJA employees. This research has studied the role of public supervision office in improving the organizational performance process of Mazandaran police command staff.
The research in terms of its practical purpose, and its survey method, and its statistical population includes 126 middle managers of the headquarters and specialized police of Mazandaran Province Police Command, of which 95 were randomly selected by using Cochran's formula. The data collection tool is the questionnaire created by the researcher on the role of public supervision and the organizational performance standard questionnaire of Hersi and Goldsmith (1980). The reliability of the questions was measured and confirmed as 0.75 and 0.82 respectively, the data using SPSS software has been analyzed by two descriptive and inferential methods (Kolmogrove- Smirnov test, Pearson correlation coefficient, regression and Friedman test).
The findings of the research indicate that the public monitoring office is effective in improving the organizational performance of employees. Also, the results of the research show that the components of the public supervision office have an effect on improving the organizational performance of the employees of NAJA. According to the Friedman test, the highest mean is assigned to the component of playing the role of deterrence, attracting public participation and finally providing a platform for decision making.
The results show that for the better performance of employees, an institution is needed to guide and realize this social demand. The Office of Public Supervision is a responsible institution and provides informal supervision of citizens. In addition, this office can be effective in improving the organizational performance of employees in FARAJA.
