News media and soft warfareInvestigating the structure of the Radio and Television News Organization in soft war management
The national media, as one of the most important components of the soft power of the Islamic Republic, has played a vital role in increasing participation, cohesion, trust, and national loyalty during the four decades since the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Its social capital needs to review the structure of its news organization in light of the new media arrangement and change its structure in line with the emerging situation in the information cycle in the competitive sphere in the media system to meet the news needs of its audience. Due to the importance of this issue, in this study, while examining the important and required components of the organizational structure of the radio and television news departments, the news structure of the organization against this media war has been recognized. This research is a qualitative method, a tool for data collection; Semi-structured interviews by non-probabilistic and purposeful sampling method selected 12 experts in the field of news and finally based on qualitative analysis of data through coding; 81 items, 21 concepts and 8 indicators were extracted. The research results suggest to news policymakers that the components "integrated management, skills development and knowledge force, media polarity, soft media power, media convergence, structural integration, outsourcing and sustainable income" should be considered in designing the structure of a news organization for a new media arrangement.
