Designing a model of succession system in the Deputy of Physical Education and Health of the Ministry of Education with an interpretive structural approach

The purpose of this study was to design a model of succession system in the Deputy of Physical Education and Health of the Ministry of Education with an interpretive structural approach. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and was conducted by a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods in the framework of descriptive-survey research. The statistical population is 15 experts in the qualitative section and in the quantitative section, including all managers and experts of physical education and health of the Ministry of Education. It was up to 400 people to be selected based on Cochran's formula. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire including 20 factors affecting the development of succession breeding, the validity of which was confirmed by 10 male professors of sports management at the university and its reliability was confirmed by Krubach alpha test (α = 0.93). Findings showed that the factors were in six levels and the factors of talent identification and creating a talent treasury were in the lowest level and the factors of establishing a qualification system and job stability were in the first level. Determining talent identification indicators, identifying talents and creating and establishing a talent treasury in order to cultivate capable successors will facilitate the achievement of other factors affecting succession breeding as well as qualification for managerial positions in physical education and health education.
