The Impact of Internet Use on Improving the Level of Educational Motivation Technical and vocational college students

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of Internet usage on improving the level of educational motivation of students of technical and vocational universities. The main question is how is the amount of Internet use affecting the level of educational motivation of students in the technical and vocational universities? In this regard, we will determine the status of students ' educational motivation, determine the extent of using students from the Internet, and investigate the effect of Internet usage on the level of students' educational motivation. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive survey method. The statistical population of all students of Iran's Technical and Vocational School is 200 thousand people. The sample is 400 people selected according to Morgan's table. The method is a cluster random sampling. To collect data from a questionnaire Hartre's educational motivation scale(1981) and researcher-made questionnaire have been used for Internet usage, Validity of questionnaires was verified using content validity and construct validity methods and their reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In order to analyze the collected data, Structural Equation Modeling (SPSS) and Lisrel software were used. Results showed that student's educational motivation is in desirable condition. Also, the amount of Internet usage affects the level of students' educational motivation, and students who used large numbers of Internet sites showed a significant difference in the level of educational motivation.
