New Media, Digitalization of Cultural Industries and New Challenges: A Qualitative Meta-analysis.
The changes that took place in the various spheres of human life with the entry into the digital realm were to the extent that it was called a revolution,an accurate and correct understanding of the digital revolution is important because after several decades of its formation, not only it has not been stopped and calmed down, but also it is affecting every day and every other field and a wider area and in proportion to this power of influence and the extent of this inclusion, the consequences and challenges arising from it also become significantly more serious and worrying. In the meantime, the cultural industries were gradually forced to keep pace with these changes, and after a short time, the field of coercion narrowed and the huge and powerful wave of digitalization engulfed the cultural industries of the analog world. This research by meta-analysis of thirty-two works in the mentioned subject area, after providing a definition of new media and mentioning a short history of digitalization pays attention to some cultural industries such as games, music, and the internet in the digital age and addresses new challenges arising from them. The issue of content sharing, mechanisms of distribution in the new space, digital divide, flow control, directing the attention and role of search engines, commercialization and advertising in cyberspace, turning Internet users into unpaid workers, and big data issues is some of the topics that have been addressed in the form of new challenges around new media in this research.
