Criticism of the Idea of Zuhrī's Idrāj in Hadith of Fadak
Usurpation of Fadak and anger of Hazrat Zahrā (as) at Abu Bakr and not to talk with him until her martyrdom are certain facts in Islamic history. But it was not long ago that a doubt was raised by some Salafi scholars regarding the Zuhrī’s Idrāj in the traditions related to this anger. They look on the traditions of Fatima's anger at Abu Bakr as Zuhrī’s editing and declare them rejected. The present article is written in a library method and with an analytical approach in order to evaluate and answer this doubt. The findings indicate that, contrary to the claims, the expressions of anger and separation are not from Zuhrī’s editions, and in most of the texts of these traditions, the narrator of the story of anger and separation is 'Ayesha, and there is no editing. In addition to that, the story of Hazrat Zahrā (as) not speaking and her anger at Abu Bakr has also been narrated through non-Zuhrī. In addition, Sunni scholars believe that the Idrāj in the hadith is forbidden (ḥarām) and causes the narrator to fall from justice. Also, they did not mention this hadith as one of the hadiths with Idrāj, but they admitted to its content and tried to justify her anger at Abu Bakr.
