Proper equipment prioritization is one of the most important challenges in oil and gas drilling operations to improve maintenance programs and optimal inventory management. Therefore, the present study prioritizes the types of equipment in drilling rigs that play an important role in oil and gas exploration and extraction processes. In order to prioritize the equipment, three well-known methods of risk analysis were used, such as the Bow-Tie method, the Crespo Marquez method, and the method presented in the Norsok Z008 standard. The research method was a library survey, and a questionnaire was designed to obtain expert opinions. The focus of the present study is on jack-up type drilling rigs that have been widely used in the coasts of the country. Based on the results of the bow tie method, equipment such as pump and mud tank, mud purification system, diesel engine, power supply rig, well wall pipe and cementing equipment, received the highest priority in terms of crisis. According to the results of Crespo Marquez method, equipment such as diesel engine, power supply rig, top drive set, riser compensator, drilling drill and drilling rim, and according to Norsok Z008 standard, equipment such as diesel engine, rig power supply, top drive set, drill wheel, compensation Riser, hose and burst valves were given the highest priority in terms of criticality. Based on the results of the three methods, the diesel engine set of power supply rig and riser compensator were recognized as the most critical equipment in the jack-up type drilling rig..
