Protests and social crises; Looking at the role of the Supreme Leader in controlling the crisis of November 2019; Future challenges and strategies

During the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Islamic Republic of Iran has faced many crises and incidents, among which the November 2019 crisis was one of the most challenging and controversial crises, which was caused by internal opponents with the support and support of global arrogance and complicity and had many consequences for the Islamic Republic. However, with the support of the Iranian nation and the management of the supreme leader of the revolution, overcame this crisis. Reviewing the crisis, examining and explaining the management of the Supreme Leader in containing the mentioned crisis is an inevitable necessity, and the results can be useful for persisting the path and avoiding possible mistakes, as well as providing a model of crisis management based on the leadership of the Islamic society. The method of conducting the research is descriptive and analysis of content and theme in qualitative manner. In the current research, we are looking for an answer to this main question, and that is, how did the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution manage the social and security crisis of November 2019? In response to this question, in this article, the theme and content of the leadership's statements and positions in the said crisis were analyzed by examining the components of crisis and crisis management in theoretical discussions. The results indicate that the leadership relied on the strategies of: "persuasion of public opinion," "mobilization of popular masses," and "use of legal tools" to managed and controlled the 2008 crisis.
