Role of parents in the sociability of children from the Holy Quran’s point of view

Children’s sociability is considered one of the important issues in discussions of pedagogy and sociology, and among different factors, the parents' role is so important. Children learn social and moral norms and values from their parents and imitate them since they make their first communications with their parents. The present study investigated the role of parents in children’s sociability with inspiration from verses from the Holy. Quran and some narrations as an interpretation of mentioned verses through the library and descriptive research methods. The findings of the study showed that learning social conventions and skills, enhancing intellectual communication, the cultural role of parents, economic education, observing discipline in social life, glorification of children, preparing the essentialities of their marriage, and their physical education are in priority, that parents should play their role in the best way in children's sociability.
