The Consequences of Aristocracy in National Economy with an Emphasis on Nahj al-Balagha

The tendency to beauty is among the existential dimensions of a human that is obviously presented in divine verses and innocents’ narratives. The tendency to beauty is not bad, but if this inherent tendency results in aristocracy and worldly ceremonies, it is condemned. Aristocracy means the tendency to the luxuries and appearances of life. The tendency to them causes some damages and consequences in individual, family, and community economy. Some of these damages include indebtedness, worldliness, challenging the revolution, consumerism of the individual and family, becoming dependent on strangers, changing the family pattern from the production to the consumption, increasing the class gap, damaging the treasury, and the lack of progress of the society. The promotion of modeling of innocents’ life, the reinforcement of religious beliefs and spiritual values such as piety, contentment and self-respect, and moderation, are among the Quranic solutions of coping with the tendency to luxuries. This study applies a library research method to collect the data, and the method to take notes and analyze the data is descriptive-analytical.
