Women’s Role in the Institutionalization of Islamic Lifestyle Based on Islamic Teachings and the Supreme Leader’s Sayings

Although Muslim women have always had an important role in the formation and continuation of family and Islamic society, a gender view, sometimes, has caused to ignore women’s role in the institutionalization of Islamic lifestyle; thus, given the importance of Islamic lifestyle, the Supreme Leader, as a wise and benevolent observer, has placed a great emphasis on the necessity of removing the ignorance from that and taken effective steps. In the light of Islamic teachings, he has noticed some useful points to institutionalize women’s important role. This descriptive-analytical study tries to explain Muslim women’s role in the two fields of “family” and “society” using a theme analysis with the help of the wise advice of the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in the statement of the second step. The study concluded that a large group of women has a key role in strengthening the institute of family, mind and emotion, correct education, the dynamics of society, consistent policies with Islamic teachings, and encouraging and stabilizing religious beliefs in families and communities.
