Examining the Role of Economic-social Factors in the Formation of Low-cost Housing Architecture in the Post-Islamic Revolution Era of Iran
This research aims to investigate and study the role of economic-social factors in the formation of low-cost housing architecture in the era after the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Factors being effective in the formation of low-cost housing architecture will be investigated and studied both in the economic and social dimensions. In this study also, the relationship between the socio-economic factors and real estate syndrome was explained through a cheap housing model. The studied case study was the contemporary residential architecture in the aftermath of the Iran’s Islamic Revolution, which is examinded due to the impact of social and economic issues and the major challenges of this period. Also, a model for forming of low-cost housing and improving design principles for architects in the direction of optimal use of space was established by explaining the economic-social factors and verifying their relationships with each other and other peripheral factors.. It is shown that the change in housing conditions has been one of the most important areas of development caused by the expansion of urbanization. The target group can be the general society, workers, employees, retirees, female heads of households, households with young heads, etc. To provide safe and healthy housing within the financial capacity of the household, we can consider implementing various execution programs tailored to increase the ability of households to provide housing and retrofit existing. Finally, real solutions to reduce housing prices are proposed and presented.
