Explanation the role of the Fire Support Coordination Center in the structure of the Samen al-Alamah plan of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Numerous factors are influential in establishing the security and authority of the country, including the powerful armed forces. The role of the Army as a large part of Armed Forces is important in establishing the security. In order to maintain this authority, promotion of the military combat power is importance. The main components of combat power are maneuvering units and firepower. Due to the changes in the structure of the ground forces of the Army of IRI in accordance with the Samen al-A'meh plan, the fire support of artillery units to maneuver units has been challenged; Ground forces of the Army of IRI, in order to deal with the threats, based on their own measures, policies and preparations, in the form of existing doctrines and policies, and eliminate this shortcoming. The present study has been conducted explain the role of the Fire Support Coordination Center in carrying out the unit mission. The descriptive research method is mixed with the analysis approach. The study population includes artillery commanders during the eight years of holy defense and in peacetime from the top battalion that passed the staff and command course. The sample size in the interview was 8 people and for the questionnaire equal to Cochran's formula was 78 people. The researcher has collected information in this research by distributing questionnaires, interviews with experts, documents and the findings of this research will be in order to include suggestions in the structure of the fire Coordination center of Division operational bases.
