Analysis of Cultural Resources of the Place in order to Culture-led Regeneration of the Neighborhood

Abstract:
This study identified cultural factors and resources affecting the place, factors and potentials that have the ability to regenerate and revitalize neighborhoods in the cultural field and by presenting a conceptual model has shown how to use these factors in urban regeneration policies. Culture as a social event needs a context to be studied, so it is important to study the structure of urban space; Urban space is a kind of geographical space that is formed due to the interaction of natural environment features and socio-economic structure; This study aimed to improve the structure of the worn-out texture of urban neighborhoods qualitatively and the Walcott method based on the interpretive paradigm of previous studies and concluded that cultural heritage resources include natural heritage, tangible heritage, intangible heritage and art. Cultural products and activities are defined that can be used to treat the worn-out tissue of urban neighborhoods by using them in creative industries and the pattern of production and consumption.
