A comparative study of the political culture of selected countries of the world based on the level of social development in 2020

Social development, as a process of general and comprehensive changes in society, influences political culture as a part of political development; Therefore, the relationship between social development and political culture is a serious issue. In this regard, the present study to answer the question of how the level of social development of different societies affects their political culture? Twenty countries from all continents in 2020 have been selected through targeted sampling and studied by comparative method and descriptive-analytical approach. The findings indicate that all countries with high social development have a democratic political culture and are considered societies with full democratic governance; While countries with moderate social development have imperfect democracies; Countries with low level of social development also have subordinate political cultures and mixed regimes; But countries with very low development have a limited political culture and an authoritarian political system; As a result, it can be said that social development causes changes and transformations in the political culture of countries and different countries of the world have their own culture and political system appropriate with their level of social development.
