Investigating the Effect of Religious Capital on Job Motivation With the Mediating Role of Spirituality in the Workplace (Case Study: Hospital Staff of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences)
Job passion is one of the novel and relatively widely used concepts in modern approaches to human resource management. The relationship between religion and job motivation can be important in terms of hiring and promoting the right organizational culture. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of religious capital on job motivation with the mediating role of spirituality in the workplace. The present study is an applied and analytical research that was conducted cross-sectionally in 1399. The statistical population of the study was 740 nurses from the hospitals of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Using random sampling method, a sample of 253 nurses was selected using the Cochran's formula. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed. Descriptive, mean and standard deviation statistical methods were used to analyze the collected data and inferential statistical methods, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and correlation and regression tests were used. Data were also analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. The results according to the hypotheses show that at the 95% confidence level in the hospitals of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, religious capital has a positive and significant effect on job motivation. Religious capital has a positive and significant effect on spirituality in the workplace. Spirituality in the workplace has a positive and significant effect on job motivation. Nurses can positively affect people's beliefs about their abilities to achieve success by instilling a sense of hope, faith and insight into nurses.
