Examining the role of emotional intelligence of employees in predicting the productivity of advertising companies (Study case: Asangar Cooperative Co., Mehrngar Alborz and Royal Graphics between 1399 and 1401)
Emotional intelligence plays an effective role in human behavior and refers to the capacity of people to recognize their own and others' emotions, which helps them motivate others and manage their emotions well in relation to them. In fact, it is emotional intelligence that can take a step towards the goal by using rational intelligence. Considering that nowadays the main goal of many organizations is to create and increase the productivity of the organization, the purpose of this research was to investigate the role of emotional intelligence of employees in predicting the productivity of advertising companies between 2019 and 2018. The research method used is the correlation method, and Baran's Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (1980) with a reliability of 0.82 and Hersey and Goldsmith's Productivity Questionnaire (1980) with a reliability of 0.87 were used to collect research data. The statistical population included all the employees of advertising companies in Alborz province (Asangar Cooperative, Mehrangar Alborz and Royal Graphic Co.), numbering 168 people. The sample size of 115 people was determined using Morgan's table and the sample was selected through random sampling. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS-22 software and through Pearson's correlation test and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that emotional intelligence of employees can predict their productivity. In addition, there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence of employees and their productivity.
