Validation of the talent identification model of students with potential for teaching job in Iran's senior high school
The present study aimed to measure the talent identification model of students with potential for teaching jobs in senior high schools of Iran. It was a quantitative study with a survey approach. The research populatio n included 2,600 people from the executive and teaching staff of schools and professors of Farhan giān University. From among them 335 people was selected randomly as the research sample according to Morgan's table. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The questio ns and items of the questionnaire were compiled using literature review and the results of a qualitative study. In order to confirm the validity and reliabi lity of the questionnaire and also to confirm the validity of the model, the PLS algorithm has been followed. PLS modeling takes place in two stages. In the first step, the measurement model (external model) is examined through validity and reliability analyzes (Cronbach's alpha coef ficient and composite reliability), and confirmatory factor analysis. In the second step, the structural model of the research (internal model) was examined. The data were analyzed by Smart PLS software. The results indicated that the causal conditions, cont extual conditions, intervening fac tors and consequences were signifi cant in the talent iden tification model of students who have potential for teaching jobs.
