The issue of "time" is one of the main elements of history - with any definition. The concept of time in history, and more precisely, historical time, has a fundamental difference with the common concept of time in philosophy and physics. One of the features of historical time is its connection with timeline, and this concept, in turn, is connected with another concept called "important events". Timeline, which has now found an important place in information, refers to a period of time for the representation or regular graphic or non-graphical presentation of the most important events of that period. Due to the link between history and human guidance, the Qur’an has paid attention to history significantly and of course with its special way of expressing, and it seems that highlighting the time sequence of events and presenting different patterns for the timeline is one of the examples of this attention. The current article, after a review of various Quranic interpretations in this regard, by examining the cases of use of "Iz" and "Va IZ" in the Quran, has tried to reveal one of the timelines of the Quran. This study shows that "Iz" and "Va Iz" mean a space of time and belong to the deleted verb "Uzkur" or "Uzkuru", a timeline based on some important events in the lives of nine prophets (Abraham, Lot, Moses, Suleiman, Elijah, Jonah, Josef, Jesus, Muhammad), two divine personalities (Luqman and Mary) and one group (Seven Sleepers).
