The influence of styles, paradigms governing the society on the formation of form in the architecture of the contemporary period of Iran

Shape and form are often used in the same sense, but in the world of visual arts, each has a special concept and meaning. The shape of any object is the lines around the surface of that object, while the form is the three-dimensional aspect of the object that can be seen from different angles. Form is the main factor of architecture and it must be coordinated with various factors affecting architecture, such as value system, cultures, environmental, functional conditions and also sustainability. According to the nature of the research, the collection of information and data will be done in two library and field methods. In this connection, in the first phase, the sources related to the architectural works of the pre- and post-Islam era and the course of their formation and formal changes will be studied. This article, relying on qualitative and analytical research, aims to clarify the fact that despite the fact that the contemporary era has been faced with the multiplicity and multiplicity of concepts in theoretical discussions due to the subsequent developments, but the discussion of form, like other theoretical discussions of architecture, is the rule and it is possible to propose models in this field in order to apply the theoretical topics of paradigms in the field of architecture.
