The Impact of Virtual Social Networks on the Approach and Political Participation of Ministry of Interior Employees (Case Study of the Twelfth Presidential Election)
Today, various aspects of human life in general and its political activism, in particular, have been increasingly influenced by the influence of mass media, especially social media, virtual social networks and mobile messaging tools. And this important ground for the realization of the "network citizen" is possible for the first time. Meanwhile, the phenomenon of elections as one of the most important methods of political selection and an important symbol of participation. Politics has been influenced by the media, especially the new media.The 10th presidential election was perhaps the first and most widespread presence of cyberspace and social networks in the field of politics in Iran, according to what was said in this study. Using a mixed method (quantitative and qualitative) and using library tools and a questionnaire with a sample size of 278 people among the staff of the Ministry of Interior of Fars province (governorate, governorates, districts and municipalities of Fars province) has been done Seeks to answer the main question of what effect virtual social networks have had on the political participation of the staff of the Ministry of Interior of Fars Province (Case Study: Twelfth Presidential Election)?
