The aim of this study was to investigate the political style of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei regarding three components of "political citizenship rights" including "freedom of expression and belief, participation in determining destiny and party and organization" by "text-based hermeneutics" method. The results of the study showed that Imam Khomeini's view and practice of freedom is a valuable view and approach, and he considered freedom of thought and thought to be the most important freedom. Ayatollah Khamenei also made civilization impossible without freedom of thought and expression. Considered.
