Inefficient and worn-out structures are structures that have been formed and developed over a long period of time, and today they are surrounded by technology, and they are structurally and functionally deficient and often do not meet the needs of their residents. Therefore, at the same time with the emergence of the above problems and their effects on different areas of life, paying attention to worn out and inefficient urban tissues and fixing their instability has become a serious and central issue in cities, as one of the most serious challenges of the system. The planning and management of cities has led the relevant organizations to organize and revive these elements and the aforementioned context and has raised the need to intervene in these contexts and realize regeneration policies in different periods of time. Based on this, the aim of the current research is the role of construction projects in the realization of the regeneration policies of inefficient urban tissues in the city of Islamshahr with a descriptive-analytical and applied method. In this regard, he investigated and collected information in the form of a survey and 5 indicators of urban regeneration (satisfaction indicators, good urban governance, promotion of local identity and dignity and protection of values, urban poverty, productivity, empowerment and promotion of urban resilience in the face of disasters and disasters) was analyzed with SPSS software. The results of the research show that the implementation method of participatory planning can be effective and useful in order to regenerate the inefficient urban contexts of this city through coherent and planned activities.
