The effect of mental workload on employees' mental health: An analysis of the mediating role of cyberloafing and job stress (Case study: Imam Khomeini Port staff
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of mental workload on employees' mental health by considering the mediation of cyberloafing and job stress. The method of the present research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of how to collect information. The statistical population of the research is 950 employees of Imam Khomeini Port, based on the simple random sampling method and using Cochran's formula, 274 people were selected as a statistical sample, and after distributing the questionnaires, 241 correct questionnaires were returned. And the research data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. To measure the variables of the research, the standard questionnaires mental workload of Rubiovaldehita et al (2017), mental health of Bakker and O'erleman (2011), cyberloafing Agrin et al (2018), and job stress Lambert et al (2007) were used. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by research experts and the reliability of the research was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha. Mental workload has a direct and significant effect on employees 'mental health and also indirectly has a significant effect on employees' mental health through mediation of job stress and cyberloafing. The results of research in the field of mental workload and mental health of employees have brought innovations and help managers of organizations to understand the impact of mental workload on mental health of employees through job stress and cyberloafing to create a friendly atmosphere.
