Explaining the position of rural ICT in the sustainable economic development of villages in Qazvin province with emphasis on SIMAK (Integrated Property and Places Management System)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the position of rural ICT in the sustainable economic development of villages in Qazvin province with emphasis on SIMAC among rural users in Qazvin province. The research method in this study is a survey and a quantitative questionnaire that was used to collect information. The statistical sample included 400 users of rural information and communication technology offices (villagers of Qazvin province) who were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method. Pearson correlation test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a moderate and positive correlation between economic development and the performance of rural information and communication technology offices in Qazvin province (r = 0. 46). There is also a strong and positive relationship between the level of access of villagers to the services of rural information and communication technology offices and economic development (r = 0. 580). On the other hand, there is a weak and positive relationship between the launch of the SIMAC system and the reduction of inquiry violations and land grabbing (r = 0. 35). Also, there is a significant relationship between launching the SIMAC system and reducing the time to obtain construction permits and reducing organizational violations (r = 0. 421). In other words, the launch of the SIMAC system has led to a decrease in obtaining construction permits and a reduction in organizational violations in Qazvin province.
