Sociological study of the role of socio-cultural factors on political participation of young people in Tabriz city in 1396

The present study, entitled Sociological Survey, considers the role of socio-cultural factors on thepolitical participation of youth in Tabriz in 2017, the statistical population of youth living in Tabriz, which are inthe age range of 15-29, has been done. According to the population and housing census of 1394, the statisticalpopulation in Tabriz is 1173916 people, of which 575219 are women and 598697 are men. To estimate thesample size in this study, Cochran's formula was used, during which the required number of samples wascalculated to be 384 people. The sampling method in the present study is multistage and clustered. In thismethod, the members of the society are selected according to a hierarchy of units that are larger than the typesof units of the society. Cultural action and social action have a very significant relationship with the politicalparticipation of young people.participation of young people.
