Abstract:
One of the main concerns of scholars and artists is the use of verses and allegorical stories from the Holy Quran in artistic works. This aspect is extensively examined within the field of dramatic and performance studies, specifically under the title of dramaturgy. Quranic dramaturgy methods are considered important issues. Therefore, this paper aims to focus on the dramaturgy of three periods of the story of Prophet Moses (a) based on a confrontational and paradoxical perspective. The first period of the story of Prophet Moses (a) consists of the birth of Moses (a), Moses (a) and Coptic man, and Moses (a) and Shu'ayb (a). The second period includes the stories of Moses (a) and Aaron, Moses (a) and the magicians, and Moses (a) and the Pharaoh. Finally, the third period encompasses the stories of Moses (a) witnessing God, the calf of the Children of Israel, Moses (a) and Korah (Qārūn), and Moses (a) and Khidr. The findings indicate that the dramaturgy of conflicts presented in the story of Prophet Moses (a) in the Holy Quran enhances the portrayal and creates a stronger connection with the reader. It also plays a fundamental role in explaining the truths and unveiling the profound teachings of the Holy Quran. This approach can be applied in contemporary dramatic and performance productions.
