Ethical Strategies of Accepting the Individual Differences of Couples with Emphasis on Islamic Teachings

The principle of individual differences is the principle that has been accepted by everyone and is mentioned in the verses of the Qur'an and Islamic traditions. Differences in talents and tastes sometimes cause tension between people, especially couples who have to live together for years. Therefore, in this article, while expressing the individual differences of couples, the influence of ethics in their acceptance has been explained. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical in the way of collecting library sources. From the findings of this research, we can see the positive effect of ethics in accepting physiological and psychological differences and sexual differences, in the form of moral strategies (male authority and female companionship, proportional assignment of responsibilities between men and women, male empathy with listening to women, female happiness and expressing male affection, Preservation of women's dignity and respect for men...) pointed out. Therefore, in addition to recognizing these differences, couples facilitate the acceptance of these differences for each other with the help of ethical strategies, which also has a significant effect on family consolidation.
