The Role of Social Capital in Supply Chain Flexibility and Organizational Performance the Case Study of Manufacturing Companies in Tehran Province
The present study aimed to investigate the role of social capital in supply chain flexibility and organizational performance with the mediating role of absorption capacity and the moderating role of marketing supply chain management alignment (manufacturing companies in Tehran province).
This research is applied in terms of aim and correlational in terms of method. The statistical population includes 440 production companies in Tehran province. Based on Morgan's table, the sample size was 205 companies selected using a convenience random sampling method. A questionnaire was used to collect data and regression test and path analysis were used to analyze the data.
Social capital and absorption capacity affect flexibility at a 99% confidence level. Social capital with a significance level higher than 0.05 and t less than 1.96 does not have a significant effect on absorption capacity. The moderating role of supply chain management alignment was also confirmed.
