The influence of the natural geopolitical factors of the Persian Gulf on the formulation of strategies to increase the geopolitical weight of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Persian Gulf region and its surrounding countries are one of the sensitive and strategic regions of the world due to their regional, geopolitical, geoeconomic and geostrategic values. The natural geopolitical factors of the Persian Gulf are one of the most important factors that are effective in enhancing Iran's geopolitical weight. In this research, an attempt has been made to examine these factors from the lens of the natural geopolitical factor. The main goal of this article is to investigate the effect of the natural geopolitical factors of the Persian Gulf on the strategies of increasing the geopolitical weight of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research is applied-developmental in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of nature and method. The method of data collection with library, documentary and survey methods, after conducting theoretical studies and geopolitical ecology, an effort has been made to identify these natural factors and to confirm and determine the role of their factors (in the form of opportunity platforms) Afarin, threatening, strength and weakness) should be taken. In this regard, the related questionnaire was designed and distributed among the statistical community of 40 people in the form of a total number, and using the methods of descriptive and inferential statistical analysis and SPSS22 software, summarizing and answering the research questions were done. Is. Finally, 20 factors were extracted and introduced, such as "Geographical and geopolitical location of Iran", "Iran's long and suitable coasts on the northern shore of the Persian Gulf", "Iran's location between two important seas, the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf". "The size and shape of the country of Iran" and "Iran's communication position" were ranked as the most important natural geopolitical factors affecting the strategies of increasing the geopolitical weight of Iran in the Persian Gulf.
