A Review of the Literature on Scientific and Creative Health and Medical Measures of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces in the Sacred Defence

The era of the "imposed war" by the Ba'ath regime of Iraq against the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was undoubtedly the scene of one of the largest violent and comprehensive military aggressions in the 20th century. At that time, the Ba'ath regime not only enjoyed the financial, intelligence, and weapons support of many superpowers of the world as well as the Persian Gulf states, but in order to achieve its aggressive goals, it violated accepted human rights laws, totally (including the prohibition of the use of chemical weapons, sometimes called "The 1925 Geneva Protocol"). This issue, along with the coincidence of the beginning of the imposed war with the change of the government system in Iran, complicated the situation for military officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, to provide medical equipment, supplies, and medical staff to the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. However, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, specifically the ground forces, was able to do this with the round-the-clock efforts of the commanders, officers, and even the soldiers working in the hospitals.
