Predicting military job performance based on job value, work-life balance, responsibility with the mediation of emotion regulation

Abstract:
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the prediction of the military personnel's job performance based on job burden, work-life balance, responsibility with the mediation of emotion regulation. The design of the current research is descriptive of the correlation type and the statistical population of this research is all the personnel of the military unit of the army's western region headquarters, numbering 140 people. The sample size was considered to be 103 people using Morgan's table. To collect data from Nimez Lorani's work-life balance questionnaire (2019), Tracey and Tous' job burden questionnaire (2005), Patterson's job performance questionnaire (1992) and Niklova et al.'s standard responsibility questionnaire (2016). used. The obtained data were analyzed using correlation method and structural equation model. The results of the research showed that there is a direct and significant relationship between the variables of work-life balance, job burden, and responsibility with job performance. Also, work-life balance, job burden, and responsibility through emotion regulation have an indirect effect on the job performance of military personnel.
