Synthesis and Characterization of (Epoxy/Polyurethane)/Tio2 Nanocomposites
A novel of titanium dioxide (Tio2) filled epoxy (EP)/polyurethane (PU) nanocomposites have been prepared with different weight ratios of titanium dioxide (Tio2) viz., 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 wt.% EP/PU (90/10). The prepared nanocomposites have been characterized for physico-mechanical behaviors. The thermal behaviors of the prepared nanocomposites have been performed using DSC, TGA and DMA. The thermal degradation behaviors of nanocomposites have been established using DSC, TGA and DMA. TGA-DSC and DMA confirmed that the heat stability of the composite was improved.
