Abstract:

With the increasing activity of feminists, literature joined the feminist struggle as well. According to feminist critics, men with a patriarchal view present a different image of woman in novels, and unlike female writers, they emphasize certain roles of woman based on this. The presence of woman in literary works is different and its appearance can be seen in the selection and arrangement of the literary elements of the text. The current research is based on the selection of two contemporary Kuwaiti writers namely Khola Alqazwini with his novel (Motallaqa Men Vaqe Alhayaat) and Saud Alsanausi with his novel (Saq Albamboo). It aims to be descriptive and analytical based on the basics of woman’s studies, showing how the image of woman is represented in the works of two authors with regard to elements such as content, subject, plot and angel of view. Based on the findings of this research, although the authors have used the presence of women in two novels, they are different from each other in terms of being at the center of events. They act differently in terms of positive and negative influence on the course of the events of the story and as a result their presence leads to the pleasant and unpleasant ending of events. Kholas image is a balanced image of a woman who finally grows into a balanced personality and role in life but in Alsanausis novel, each of the woman is involved in their own issues.
