Abstract:

Today, knowledge is considered as a valuable and strategic resource as well as an asset in gaining competitive advantage of organizations, and organizations need to implement knowledge management in the best way for success. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between knowledge management and job enthusiasm and organizational loyalty with the mediating role of psychological empowerment among the naval personnel of Bandar Abbas. In terms of purpose, this research is applied and is in the category of correlational research, and the research method is survey. The statistical population of the research is the personnel of the Strategic Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran based in Bandar Abbas, 300 of whom were selected using a random sampling method. Lawson's knowledge management questionnaire (2003), Spritzer and Mishra's psychological empowerment questionnaire (1995), Salvinia and Schaufeli’s job enthusiasm questionnaire (2001), and Robbins' loyalty questionnaire (2001) were used to measure the variables. SPSS and SMART-PLS software and descriptive statistics and inferential statistics methods were used for data analysis. The results of data analysis show that the relationship between knowledge management and psychological empowerment of employees has a significant positive correlation at the level of 0.05, and knowledge management through psychological empowerment has a direct and indirect result in the occurrence and increase of job enthusiasm (direct effect 350/ 0 and indirect effect 0.429) and employee loyalty (direct effect 0.382 and indirect effect 0.481).
