A Reflection on the First Book Published in the Field of Educational Administration in Iran

The body of scientific knowledge is presented through the writing of specialized books. Scientifically and historically, the first books of each discipline have a great importance. The present article, using the historical research method, introduces and reviews the first educational administration book in Iran named "Organization of Culture and Its Leadership" which was written by "Mohammad Ali Toussi" in 1342. The findings show the book has features such as "fluent writing and language style", "use of local and native examples", "presence of regular and coherent content", "usage of the original resources  in the field of educational administration and sociology" and "concurrent attention to the theoretical and practical foundations of educational administration". At the end, the social and cultural conditions of the Forties which influenced in writing the above book, are mentioned.
