Abstract:
Criminal justice in its true sense seeks to expand justice while protecting the rights of the victims and also includes the rights of the criminals. The Statute of the International Criminal Court, as an expression of the implementation of criminal justice at the international level, has taken care to recognize these rights in various cases. As the wide range of rights of the suspect, accused and convicted in the statute of the International Criminal Court originates from human rights doctrines; Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the manifestations of the rights of suspects, accused and convicted in the statute of the International Criminal Court. The research method used in this research is descriptive and analytical for this purpose. The articles related to the rights of suspects, accused and convicted in the statute of the International Criminal Court have been explored. The result of the current research is that people who are accused of committing a crime are called suspects, people who are prosecuted for committing a crime are called accused, and people who are found guilty of committing a crime are called convicts. Therefore, based on the standards of human rights and promotion of human dignity in the statute of the International Criminal Court, manifestations of the rights of suspects, accused and convicted have been recognized, which evokes the dignity-oriented criminal justice at the international level.
