The Role of Enemy Psychological Operations in Media Management and Providing Countermeasures from the Perspective of the Holy Quran
This article aims to explain the role of enemy psychological operations in media management and to provide countermeasures from the perspective of the Holy Quran. For this purpose, a comprehensive review of all the verses of the Holy Quran was conducted, extracting and analyzing 1701 verses related to the research topic.
This mixed-method research utilized qualitative analysis based on Grounded Theory with coding through MaxQDA software, and quantitative analysis involving a statistical population consisting of the verses of the Holy Quran, related interpretations, and 80 experts. The research is applied in nature. Data collection methods included field (questionnaire) and library (documents and records) approaches. SPSS and MaxQDA software were used for data analysis. The frequency distribution table of Quranic words was used to extract the verses.
According to the findings, an absolute majority (87.36% of the sample population) believe that enemy psychological operations significantly impact media management, and the Holy Quran provides solid and appropriate countermeasures.
Actions such as increasing insight, enhancing knowledge, identifying media beliefs, adopting audience attraction policies, and appropriately using words and phrases are highly effective in countering enemy psychological operations in today’s media environment.
