Abstract:
Iranian painting has been involved in various changes for a long time and we can point to various cultural and artistic developments. The set of these developments caused painters to create a new form of painting, which was known as the Shiraz school of the Mughal and Timurid periods. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to investigate the formation of painting of the Shiraz school in the Timurid period, which was influenced by the periods of Al-Inju, Al-Muzaffar and Timurids, and the way of its life in different periods, and its characteristics and degree of influence from foreign art. The result of the research was the painting school of Shiraz Umm al-Makateb, the painting of Iran during the Timurid period and the intermediate link between the schools before and after it, this independent painting school played an important role in the growth and optimization of other schools of the Timurid period.Key words: painting, Shiraz school, Al-Inju, Timurid period.
