The use of UAV in the Detection mission of the Air Defense Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran
The purpose of this research is to explain how to use UAVs in detection mission of the Air Defense Force of Iran.
The current research was conducted with a descriptive method and it is a combination of applied type and research approach. The desired data was collected by studying authentic documents and interviews with experts, and a questionnaire was compiled based on them. The face/content validity of the questionnaire and its reliability were confirmed with Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.83, and among the sample size, which was 111 commanders, chiefs, pilots and UAV experts in the Air Defense Force, as well as operational officers at the level of the Air Defense Integrated Network, who had the characteristics and the characteristics of the air defense mission and the use of UAV in it have been familiar; was divided.
In this research, after studying sources and interviewing experts, 3 dimensions and 8 components for the use of UAVs in detection mission of the Air Defense Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran were calculated using SPSS software and methods were analyzed statistically.
84.2% of the sample population believe that drones equipped with video camera optical and day/night vision cameras and thermal cameras, as well as drones equipped with forward-looking, side-looking and downward-looking radar systems and drones equipped with signal systems Communication eavesdropping and direction finder, Elinet and non-communication eavesdropping direction finder and IFF can be used in the detection mission of the Air Defense Force of Iran.
