The necessity of skill training in the development of the health tourism industry in Iran
One of the key factors in the development of this industry is "proper training and education" in the field of health tourism. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of skill training in the development of the health tourism industry and its effects on health and local development. In this research, firstly, the introduction of health tourism and the justification of the need to develop related skills are discussed. Then, the role of skill training in increasing the number of health tourists, improving the quality of health services, and the social and economic effects of the health tourism industry are investigated with the qualitative method - thematic analysis and interview tools. The statistical population included academic and organizational experts who were selected with a purposeful (judgmental) method and the interview continued until reaching theoretical saturation. This was achieved in the twelfth interview. Data sources, review by colleagues and review by participants" and "reliability between two coders and retest reliability" were used to confirm the reliability of the research. Data analysis has been done by coding. The results of this research show that skill training can help improve the number of health tourists, increase the quality of health services, and cultural and economic development of regions. Finally, the research deals with recommendations for the development of the health tourism industry in this area.
