Standardization of Technical Training in Highly Used Majors of Machinists According to DACUM Approach

In the current study, after reviewing the literature conducted on the standardization of education, the evaluation and competence standards in different cases were study. The researches which have been carried out according to the DACUM approach were investigated and, the flowchart for evaluation of mentioned standards was extracted. After choosing the experts who were professional in the main majors of machinists by the snowball method, 8 job titles were proposed. Then the jobs named metals milling, metals turning, metals cutting and grinding were introduced as the most used majors and, the tasks were suggested each of them by the group of experts. Finally, the standards of competence and evaluation of the mentioned three jobs were prepared based on the DACUM approach and the instructions of the Iranian Technical and Vocational Education Organization (IRIR TVTO).
