Explaining the Concept of Task and Extracting the Educational Requirements of the Task-Oriented Approach Based on the Teachings of the Holy Quran

Abstract:
Many research works have been done on what and how Islamic education is. One of the key concepts of interest in religion is the concept of "task". A Muslim always has a duty to God and, accordingly, he has duties to himself, people and other creatures. The present research has first investigated the concept of duty and the words that are close in meaning to it in the Holy Quran. Then, based on the verses of the Holy Quran, the educational requirements of the task-oriented approach was concluded. These requirements include: Man must strive to know his divine duties; Man must adhere to his divine duties; Having the ability to endure hardship is a requirement for adhering to divine duties; In recognizing and determining the task, one should pay attention to the abilities of audience; Man should not become idealistic in performing divine tasks; The obligee must conform both the appearance and the interior of his action to the divine duty. This research is placed in the category of applied researches in terms of purpose and in the category of qualitative researches in terms of approach. The research method is analytical and inferential.
