Religious Education at a Distance from Religious Training

What is religious training? Who is a religious course teacher and trainer? What differentiate a religious course teacher from other teachers? What role is played by teachers of religious courses in religious training of students? What threats are posed to religious training of schoolchildren by teachers and other officials in charge of religious training? Where those threats stem from? What are necessary and adequate limits of religious knowledge for teachers of religious courses? To what extent observing religious recommendations that teachers of religious courses give their students may affect their religious training? Do teachers of religious courses have to update their knowledge?Answering such questions is the first step in achieving a comprehensive, efficient and worthy system of religious training for schoolchildren. Lack of awareness of distinctions between teacher of a religious course and other teachers, inattention to qualifications of a religious course teacher, ambiguity about his/her role in religious training of children and lack of adequate awareness of religious matters and new questions about them, will make success of religious training difficult and will put major obstacles on the way of religious training of children, young adults and the youth of our society. Stunning growth of science, industry and technology, on the one hand, and increased number of ideological groups and sects, on the other hand, make giving a clear answer to the above questions much more difficult. Therefore, we must try to find such answers at a speed that would match the speech at which religious questions grow; so that, ambiguities are not turned into doubts and make students distance from the religion. This paper is trying to answer the above questions, open a new way for researchers in this field and take a step toward the realization of an efficient religious training and education system for students.
