Investigating the Prose Method of Farrokhi Yazdi

Toofan magazine by Farrohki Yazdi was published for eight years from 1821 to 1828. Farrokhi wrote some of it’s articles and had an important critical method, political tendency, and informative prose. Certainly, his approach of writing and literary aspect can be placed at other degree of importance. We can divide the prose of Farrokhi into three kinds: journalistic prose, descriptive prose, and disposition prose. His prose was journalistic prose, was under the influence of journalistic prose of constitutionalism especially Dehkhoda’s. According to journalistic privilege and characteristics of writing, his articles are important and we try to engage in them. This article focuses on, kinds of prose and characteristics of Farrokhi`s writings.His articles are investigative, analytical and critical creative with a variety of topics. They are noticeable in tree aspect: first is the internal factors. The words and political expressions in his prose are more as compared to his contemporary prose. The second is the external factor: The socially and historical conditions which made Farrokhi select the colloquialism and humanism. The other point is Farrokhi`s impressive talent of poetry. In his articles, he uses a little imagination. Although he composed and published for Toofan magazine, he managed his sonnets by the approach of improvisation.
