Morphological study of embryotoxic and teratogenic possible effects of common cosmetic material (Lipstick) in mice embryo

Many researches demonstrated that pregnancy is the most hazardous time in the growth period. Drugs chemical agents, maternal feeding and many enviromental factors, such as alcohol can affect the embryo. Because of daily increase use of cosmetics, especially, lipstick and its carelessness probable effect we decided to study embrytoxic and teraogenic, morphological effect of lipstick in mice embryo. In this study, we selected 60 female adult mice (shrew) with the same weight and age. After copulation and observation (vaginal plug = o day) they were divied into experimental and control groups. The experimental group recived 0.02 gr lipstick daily from mouth and localilt from skin. The Control group only recived mouse food. Then pregnant mice [on 15 and 20th day of pregnancy period] were studied for morphological features.
