Two main models have been suggested for decision-making: discrete and continuous models. In discrete models alternatives are given but in continues models alternatives are indefinite. This paper compares the models TOPSIS as discrete ones and index overlay and Boolean as a continuous models. Usually, the discrete models use location decision matrix and continuous models use GIS function as tool analysis. We compare these models with evidence of rural production units.
