Sociological approach to improper hijab

One of the existing contemporary approaches to the explanation of social deviations is Rational Selection. On the basis of a new perspective in this approach, deviating relationship is assumed as a market based on the supply-and-demand principle. According to this new conception, the deviant is a demander, and the victim, who is not inert and takes on an active role in the realization of the deviating activity, plays the role of a supplier. This kind of analysis can be applied to social and moral deviations resulting from wearing improper hijab which requires its own specific controlling policies. If we analyze some religious texts (e.g. verses related to hijab) on the basis of this approach, we will see it approved by the verses, with the codification of hijab as a controlling policy becoming meaningful within this perspective.
