Abstract:
Change and chaos can be considered as an integral part of most markets. Thus, the managers of supply chains should accept the lack of certainty and at the same time by cost-effective manner use suitable strategies to coordinate the demand and supply which is called “Supply Chain Ability Evaluation”. From a practical view, there are any methods and approaches by researches and practitioners for designing, implementing and evaluating supply chain agility evaluation. This article attempts to identify and measure the agility of a chain and limiting factors in the same chain i.e. the supply chain of the company in question considering competency, speed, responsiveness and flexibility indices as the main characteristics.Hence, through a literature review, the minor indices are extracted and by applying mathematical models and fuzzy numbers, an index is proposed for Supply Chain Agility Evaluation.
