This research has been carried out to perform a comparison between all the aspects of affective self regulation styles among those espousing beliefs of hardiness & self-efficacy & those who do not hold such beliefs. The sample of 80 individuals, was drawn through the accessibility mode from a larger statistical population consisted of female students studying at high-school levels in the school year ran from 87-88. Three questionnaires concerning "personal view survey, affective regulation styles & self-efficacy" were also administered. As results show, no significant between-group difference was observed between the group that possessed beliefs of self-efficacy & hardiness & the one that didnt hold the above mentioned beliefs. Results also indicated that self-efficacy beliefs correlate highly with hardiness.
